SYMPTOM WATCH 2006

What's the word I'm looking for... oh ya, psychosomatic.

Last night, in the midst of my sleep, I awoke with the sorest boobs I have ever had. Could this be a symptom (of you know...)? Is it possible the soreness is caused by the rememnats of my trigger shot from 8 days ago? Or: am I making this up because I want so much to feel something?

(Pretty much can nix that last one: it hurt like a muthafucka to insert breast into bra cup this morning.)

Just thought this crazy broad should update you.

It could be totally normal for you (my nipples get pretty sore each cycle after ovulation), or it could be a symptom. I hope it's the latter!

This is probably TMI, but I'm about a day behind you and this morning I woke up to cherry red, painfully sore nips. I would like to say that it was caused by too much fun with the hubby, but sadly, that is not the case. Must be some weird hormone thing. I have the 2ww.

That should have read "I hate the 2ww."

I think it sounds promising. It's so true that when the boobies are really sore, not psychosomatic, that's when things like bras start to hurt. Here's hoping!

Well, it could be your hormonal reaction to actually ovulating this cycle, AND the medications -- as you pointed out, you haven't ovulated on your own in a long time. So, unfortunately, you don't have the previous cycles to compare a "normal, natural ovulation" with "ART-induced ovulation", versus "potential pregnancy symptoms".

Siiiiiiiigh. Sucks, doesn't it?!!? Welcome to the 2WW!!!! :/

Hoping it is the latter for you -- how many DPO are you now?

I agree with Reality, if you're on a progesterone supplement, that can cause several pregnancy-like symptoms which is just soooo delightful (insert sarcasm here).

But if you're not....well then I consider this a very good sign!

Actually, either way I consider this a positive sign because it's nice to be hopeful.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that the remainder of the 2ww goes by fast and then you get good news...hang in there!!
