IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING

I'm here, but have been running around a lot in the past week.

A short update: We had our IUI today. Everything looked good. We shall see what happens 15 days from now. (You will be happy to know that I don't have any big events planned for that time.)

I'm not one to believe in signs, but last night when we got into bed The C flipped through the channels and found Simon.and.Garfunkle in concert on PBS. I turned to him and said: this must be a sign. I love S and G, but have no clue what made that come out of my mouth at that moment. It was a weird thing to say, but I think I just felt that at that precise moment the stars were all aligned, and that all would be fine in our little world.

Does that make sense?

A longer post to come. With some pics that we took on our "vacation" at home.

This is what I find humorous! "We had our IUI today." Isn't is AMAZING how accustom we get to this medical intervention stuff? I, like you, have now had 3 IUI's, and the nervousness, excitement and expectation of results is all but mildly there at #3. HOWEVER, I hope this one is THE ONE for you guys. It helps that you have IVF as a choice in the future, though.

Good luck! Looking forward to a longer update! :)

Glad to hear you had the IUI! I like how you said at that precise moment you felt the stars had alligned and thing would be fine in your world. I had a moment like that the day before my IUI as well.

Thinking lots of good thoughts for you!

Good enough for me! And what a perfect sign for you!

What will you do to keep the crazies at bay during the 2ww?! Make a trip to the T-dot?! (hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

Lurker in the same boat here.
Seeking second opinion today from a specialist if its worth pursuing IUI at all. The RE thinks my chances are 5%. Still, it does not hurt to try once before moving on to IVF right?

So I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Good luck, hope it works out!

I'm hoping you said that becuase your subconscious knows something your waking mind doesn't. And that it means you'll get your BFP in 15 +/- days!

I am a total believer in "feelings." Just like when you have a hunch that you shouldn't be doing something, I think that "cycle hunches are totally valid. Here's hoping!
