CD15 AND ALL IS WELL

... I guess.

I triggered this morning at 10:10. Two juicy follicles are present on my left side: 18mm and 18.5mm. Lining at 8.5mm. So all is well.

This cycle was pretty uneventful. I thought the increase in Fem.ara and Pur.egon would speed up the process, but I am only triggering one day ahead of last cycle. Ovulation is to occur tomorow night (or thereabouts). A CD16 O is not too shabby for an annovulatory chick, I suppose. I tell you: I can't wait to O, becasue, MAN, I can FEEL the follicles on my left side! It's amazing and uncomfortable all rolled up in one!

While the cycle was uneventful physically, emotionally I seemed to have brought out the big guns. I was pretty upset about Friday's visit to the babycafe, and I suffered the whole weekend long. My angst was brought to a head on Sunday night when I freaked out about the bullshit of IF, the shittiness of what PCO.S does to my body and the emotional effects that both are having on me. I sobbed for about three hours. I don't want to get back into it here, it's just too depressing. I just know that you guys "understand". It occured to me that once every medicated cycle I have a major freak out. Hormones, stress, pressure, hope, fear? I don't know. But it ain't pretty.

Et maintenant, la two week wait ce commence. Must plan stuff to keep myself busy. Anyone have any suggestions?

Good grief! Your visit to the Baby Cafe sounds like hell on earth.

You are one strong woman!

As always, I am sending you good wishes for this cycle, may it be lucky :-)

Suggestions - lots and lots of chocolate and popcorn. It's the cure for everything.

Good luck; my fingers (and toes) are crossed for you.

Oh the 2ww sucks doesn't it? I am only 4 days into mine and it feels like it has been three weeks. Good luck to you though. I am with Adrienne, lots and lots of chocolate is great. Retail therapy works well too. Good luck!

Fingers, toes, legs, hands, the whole body. Crossed. Praying that the two week wait is worth all its aggravation.

Ugh. I know what you're talking about. I just finished ranting to DH about how each cycle takes so much out of me emotionally... it's hard to imagine doing this every month for the next year.

Here's hoping this is your last cycle before getting knocked up!

I know what you can do during the 2 ww. Stay the hell away from the baby cafe! No.. not overly helpful... Are you into 24? If not, I highly recomend buying or renting the first season on DVD and make some popcorn. It's what I did during my first IVF and it really passed the time. Of course I should warn you, I am now totally addicted and have been known to watch an entire season in 5-8 days.

Here's to a speedy 2ww!

I like the Slurpee-as-a-reward at the halfway point, but that's just me. :)

Used book stores--less guilt over the money spent since it's less, but still get to browse and buy. I go back and buy all the books I loved as a child.

Wishing you an easy wait. And happy news at the end.

Is there ANY way to truly distract ourselves during the 2ww? I don't think so. Watch TV and read a lot 'cause then you're not thinking too much. I took a day trip on mine as well just to get away but this weather may not allow for a day trip or two.

I hope that all goes well with this cycle.

I hope you are feeling better after your breakdown. Sometimes it just helps to get it all out.

Only one, you're doing good! Best of luck, seems you have all your ducks in a row. :-)

Reading, tv, painting toes and fingers, go to the movies or rent one, cook a special meal you've never tried. I like Fly's idea of a day trip. I like Mel's idea of going to a used book store. I hope you find a fun way to pass the time!

Stumbled across your blog. I also have PCOS and to add to that, hubby has poor morphology.

I have this masochistic habit of going into places like Baby Cafe because I really love looking at cute baby stuff. But when IF hits me, as pregnant moms and their babies walk in, you're right... it's like getting hit by bricks or being run over by trucks.

As for suggestions to keep you busy, start a new hobby. Get into a class. Hubby's taking guitar lessons and I'm enrolling in Spanish class.

I hope this cycle goes well. I'll be checking on you.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I wish you the best of luck during the TWW. I'm so impatient, I'm not sure I can offer great advice! I'll add you to my blog roll too. It's great to meet other PCOSers!
